Milton has been a Maori langauge teacher for many years.
He has experience teaching adults and children. Milton is actively involved at his marae and in his whanau/hapu/iwi affairs. At present he is studying at Te Wananga o Raukawa towards a Masters in Te Reo Maori. He lives with his partner in Foxton.
Together they share three adult children and two mokopuna.

I began learning to speak Māori in Taranaki, and further developed my skills and knowledge in Waikato.
I've recently returned to Hawkes Bay, where as well as tutoring for Cultureflow, I also teach te reo part-time at the Eastern Institute of Technology. I've just about completed a teaching degree, and am also a student with the Institute of Excellence in the Māori Language (Te Panikiretanga o Te Reo).

WHY I LIKE TEACHING TE REO: Tku reo, töku ohooho, töku reo töku whakakai mārihi! Te Reo Māori is my passion! I love being surrounded by Te Reo, no matter what level the speakers are! As well as helping them, I feel teaching Te Reo helps me gain a better understanding of the language, and its technicalities.
It will be awesome when Te Reo Māori is not only being spoken on the marae, or in the classroom, but when it becomes a nationwide means of communication.

Teaching te reo Maori & tikanga Maori is something that I have a great passion for and I believe Cultureflow is a great avenue through which to provide these taonga to Aotearoa.
As a second language learner of te reo Maori myself, I understand the courage it takes to throw yourself into a new language (and culture), and my aim is to make this as easy as possible for those willing to learn.
I have studied te reo & tikanga through the University of Waikato & the University of Auckland, also I enjoy sports, kapa haka & learning about other cultures & languages.
