Māui?s Spell is a Māori language interactive computer game for beginners -and is the most fun you can have learning te reo Māori. Players follow Māui on an adventurous romp through modern-day Aotearoa (New Zealand), increasing their reo Māori skills along the way. Māui?s Spell works both as a standalone introduction to Māori and a companion to Cultureflow?s structured programme. Amongst other things it teaches greetings, locations, tenses, telling the time and numbers.
